Next Generation Antibodies

At Ege Science Pro, we are pioneering the development of target-specific antibody fragments using the in vitro selection and protein engineering methods. These antibody fragments have high affinity for their targets and can be used as recognition elements in various systems, such as ELISA and LFA, serving as efficient alternatives to traditional antibodies.

In vitro display is a powerful engineering tool that enables the high-throughput selection of peptides or proteins, allowing us to create high-performance binders against almost any antigen of interest. This cell-free method is crucial for the efficient and cost-effective production of diagnostic antibodies due to its ability to screen large libraries and produce high-affinity binders.

Recombinant antibody fragments offer a successful alternative to full-length monoclonal antibodies. They are smaller, maintain the targeting specificity of whole monoclonal antibodies, and can be produced more economically. Additionally, they are easily manipulated genetically in E. coli expression systems. Over the past two decades, these antibody fragments have become essential tools in biological sciences, agriculture, and medicine, significantly advancing basic research, disease diagnostics, and therapy.
